Refund policy
Salt Sista does its best to ensure your items are sent to you and ready to flaunt!
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free return policy to ensure your peace of mind.
NOTE: We may ask for images of the item(s) or other proof of payment to help you though the return policy and gather feedback for future improvement.
All Sale items are FINAL and not eligible for refunds, exchange or credits.
For holiday season we offer extended exchange timeframes on orders placed from the 1st of November until the 31st January the following year.
Pre-ordered items will reference the shipment date for the purposes of the below terms.
Returning Items
- All purchases are subject to a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase, no returns or exchanges will be accepted after this date
- Any items returned must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged
- Hygiene liners if applicable must still be attached for health and safety reasons
- All original tags must be intact for returns to be processed
- To initiate a return, you may log into your account and request a return OR contact our customer service team here with your order number or proof of purchase and reason for return
- You will receive further instructions on how to return the item(s) within 3 business days
- Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
- We will not refund if you require a different size, however a store credit or exchange for a different size can be provided once the original product(s) have been shipped back to us.
- We will not refund for change of mind however a store credit or exchange can be provided once the original product(s) have been shipped back to us.
My Account Return Request
- Click the "log in" link in the store's menu, or go to https://account.saltsista.com
- Log in to your account
- Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
- Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
- Click "Request return".
- If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label.
Pre-Orders
- When you purchase any item marked as "pre-order" you are purchasing a product that is not yet in stock.
- The timeframes of arrival for pre-orders are displayed on the product page.
- If you change your mind before the item is fulfilled (shipped) we will issue you a store credit.
- We will not refund for change of mind on pre-orders.
- The full amount is due upon checkout of your pre-order.
- When your item arrives we will ship it to you and you will receive an email with tracking details.
- If your item arrives to us sooner we will ship the item to you then however this is not always guaranteed.
Exchanges
- All exchanges will be subject to our 30-day return policy of the original goods
- If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, colour or change of mind please contact us with your preferred item for the exchange.
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If the requested item is not available, we will issue you with a store credit for your next shop or you can choose something else.
- Store credits issued are valid for 6 months from the date of issue
- If the item you choose is of greater value you will need to pay the difference. If the item is of lesser value the remaining amount will be issued as a store credit.
- Please note the quickest way to receive your new item is to order it online rather than waiting for the original items to be returned however the original items are still subject to our returns policy.
- Once we receive the returned items, have inspected them and have deemed them authorised under our returns terms we will email you to let you know. We will then dispatch your exchanged items within 2 business days.
- Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable, customers are responsible for return/exchange shipping costs of both the original item and the new item, unless the exchange is due to an error on our part.
Reimbursement of Funds / Store Credits
Any applicable funds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase within 5-10 business days of authorisation, and after any applicable products have been returned.
To use a store credit ensure you are logged into your account, add your items to cart and select store credit at at checkout by toggling on the "apply store credit" option. If the credit covers the entire total, your order is covered and can be completed. If not, you will need to pay the remaining balance using another standard payment method.
Damaged and Defective Items
All items are quality checked during manufacturing, arrival to our head office, and before shipment. However, in the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the damaged item. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as soon as possible once the images have been evaluated and products have been returned to us.
